Death

This was one of my grade 12 art projects. Basically we had to draw the skeleton of some imagionary creature. Since I'm not one to make imagionary animals, I went for something more surreal/horror themed. I got the basic idea from the album cover of Job For A Cowboy's "Doom" album. Which pictures a man with a business suit on, and with a cattle skull.

I personally really like the cattle skull. I think it's very symbollic, generally with death. Thus the titled for this picture. The first thing I see when I look at this is, Death, the grim reaper, but in a different form.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out, except the picture quality. The top corner (i fyou haven't already noticed) is very dark compared to the rest. Much like my Spiderman picture from last year, this drawing was drawn on a fairly large paper, so there is NO way I could put this in my scanner.

And just so you know, there was NO editing on the contrast or anything, all the pitch black areas are actually that dark in person.
